About the National Small Business Exporter Summit

NASBITE International’s fifth annual National Small Business Exporter Summit took place virtually on February 24 and March 3, 2021. This event brought together the top small and medium-sized exporters, trade professionals and trade assistance providers from across the United States, providing them with an opportunity to exchange and share best practices and lessons learned that have contributed to their export success.

Who Should Attend Future Summits

The National Small Business Exporter Summit provides forward-thinking CEOs and upper-level management, export executives and entrepreneurs with direct access to shared-learning and high-level networking and opportunities. Attendees will gain insight on powerful tools, techniques and resources that outstanding exporters from across the country have used to guide export growth and success within their businesses. Information will be shared that Summit attendees can adapt/adopt within their own business settings to support business growth and development.

The Exporter Summit also presents the same networking and shared learning opportunities for international trade assistance providers, prospective exporters and educators.

There’s value in attending the Exporter Summit

“The Exporter’s conference was a pleasant surprise since the speakers were a bunch of private companies, all exporters who each gave a talk on what works and what doesn’t, which markets have specific issues and most importantly, showed the value of what it means to sell overseas. Great addition to NASBITE! I got lots of great info and leads from attending.” – Brent Rondon, Sr. Management Consultant for International Trade, University of Pittsburg SBDC

“Spending time at the Exporters Summit sharing ideas with some of America’s best and brightest small business exporters was a great learning opportunity. I liked the event’s fast-paced format, including networking opportunities that contributed to my overall NASBITE experience. I highly recommend adding the National Small Business Exporters Summit to your NASBITE Conference itinerary.” – Owen George, International Business Development Counselor, North Carolina SBTDC

“The Exporter Summit, organized in a very timely fashion by NASBITE International during the pandemic period, provided a great opportunity for entrepreneurs and exporters confined to their homes to learn and get inspired by fellow exporters successfully navigating the world of international trade. The case studies shared by the companies presenting highlighted exporting opportunities as well as mine fields to avoid. Exporters, like myself, walked away energized from the event and inspired to take their businesses to new heights post-pandemic”. – Zaheer Faruqi, President, Aventure Aviation, Georgia

“Participating in a ‘Virtual Conference’ was a first for me! I wish you could have seen me gobbling up the information from each presentation. I found it interesting how one presenter’s information seemed to lead into the next. Much of what was presented by others related to my own vision. I learned from each presenter and was truly inspired. I have already taken some of the ideas and incorporated them into my own action plan moving forward.” – Lenna Boggs, Business Development & Proposal Coordinator, Kirila Fire Training Facilities, Inc, Ohio
